How administrators report on a Skype for Business Malicious Call

When a user reports a Malicious Call in Skype for Business we will need to run the report to pull the call detail information from the Skype for Business Monitoring reports server. To do this follow the instructions below.

***NOTE: This will only be available if you have deployed the Skype for Business Monitoring Role and Reports

  1. Browse to the Skype for Business Admin Console https://pool.domain.com/cscp
    1. Click Sign-in as a different user (you may automatically signed depending on your settings if so skip to Step 4.)


  1. Login with your Skype for Business Server administrator accounts credentials
  2. On the Home menu expand View Monitoring reports



  3. Select your Skype for Business Monitoring Server
  4. An Internet Explorer window will open, log in using your Skype for Business Administrator Account that has access to run Reports . Click Ok


  5. Once logged in you will be taken to the Skype for Business Monitoring Reports screen. Click Top Failures Report



  6. In the Top Failures Report



    1. Set the Date range you would like to search
    2. Category: Select Both expected and unexpected failure
    3. Diagnostic IDs: Enter 51017
    4. Click View Report
  7. You can see that this Diagnostic ID identifies the call as Malicious call and how many reports Sessions.


  8. Click on the Number in the Reported Sessions
  9. Click the Number beside the Pool name


  10. The report will now expand all incidents of the Malicious call events and will show the name and phone number in the incidents.
